Chapter Four

Lily was taken aback upon seeing the groundsman, Dogwood, bare-chested and tending to the dionaea duosaudreyia. Her corset strained at the beating of her heart as his rough hands caressed the stalk and leaves. She gasped as the herba rubeus Martis wrapped it’s tendrils around his ankles. Shocked into action, she reached for her pruning shears and rolled up her sleeves.
